Topic: How to deal with Acne

Subtopic: The Physical Aspect relating to Products

Hi, everyone I wanted to talk on acne in relation to products that can help reduce and completely clear them. These products and tips have the best review from dermatologist and clients. So before i get to the information i would like to explain what acne is and its causes.

Definition
Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It often causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples, and usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back and shoulders. Acne is most common among teenagers, though it affects people of all ages.

Some of the causes would include:

Four main factors cause acne:

  • Excess oil production
  • Hair follicles clogged by oil and dead skin cells
  • Bacteria
  • Excess activity of a type of hormone

It can be increase and triggered more by:

  • Hormones
  • Stress
  • Diet
  • Certain medication

They are various types of acne, namely:

  • Whiteheads (closed plugged pores)
  • Blackheads (open plugged pores)
  • Small red, tender bumps (papules)
  • Pimples (pustules), which are papules with pus at their tips
  • Large, solid, painful lumps beneath the surface of the skin (nodules)
  • Painful, pus-filled lumps beneath the surface of the skin (cystic lesions)

Now that we are done with this, i would like to talk on tips on how to wash your face

HOW TO WASH YOUR FACE

  • Rule 1:

Always wash your face before bed, cause our skin could be exposed to polluted environment and particles during the day which are harmful to skin, so it is better to sleep with a fresh clean skin. Secondly, most of us, for the women use makeup which can core the pores.

  • Rule 2:

Never skip washing your face in the
morning

Its actually really important and I don’t mean when you want to take your bathe, i mean as you wake up just give your skin a rinse. It will be very beneficial.

  • Rule 3:

Using warm water

This is a very popular tip, its advised that water too high can be harmful to our delicate skin tissues and strip us of our normal skin serum or oil and that also follows for cold water. So warm water is just simply the best option.

  • Rule 4:

Remember to wash your hands always before touching your skin. It could contain germs and bacteria that could affect your skin. So for best results always clean your hands first.

  • Rule 5:

Don’t overwash or over scrub your face.

For washing of the face it is best to be done for 20 to 30 seconds. You want to aim for about 20 or 30 seconds, but any more than that could do more harm than good. So to make this easier wash your face last when taking your bath.

Secondly, it is advised not to wash your face more than two times per day. Once in the morning and then in the evening cause washing the face can make skin drier which could lead to stripping of natural serum.

For over scrub, instead of scrubbing for 20 seconds, very harshly, try massaging the face for 60 seconds before washing it off.

  • Rule 6:

Use Liquid Soaps instead of Bar soap.Bar soap has been known to have more chemical than Liquid, making it quite harsh for sensitive skins. Because these harsh cleansers strip the natural hydrators from the skin, which can leave your face inflamed and red from broken blood vessels . Instead, it is recommended to use gentle cleansers that respect the pH balance of your skin which will be the best.

Rule 7:

Don’t stop at the Chin, never stop at the chin. Make sure to show some love to the neck too. It can also harbour dead cells and particles too.

Rule 8:

Use a clean face or wash towel and not a random body towel. Its best advice to use a towel personally for the face only and body only cause particles from the body can also then attach to the face.

Secondly, always remember to wash your towels or cloth regularly, or have a new one or pack available.

And also make sure to treat the skin with care by patting it dry

Rule 9:

Use the recommend amount of product and ensure to follow the rules and regulations to the end with out any exceptions. Some products have indication on how regular they are to be used. So using less of the amount or more than expected can have its own side effect.

Rule 10:

Follow the right beauty Procedure.

  1. The Cleanser
  2. The Exfoliate
  3. The Toner
  4. The Moisturiser

The first on the list is the cleanser, it should always be done first and before using a face mask.

Then to exfoliate, it should be done only ones or twice in a week and not more.

Then toning of the face and lastly, the moisturising.

These are all the tips i could find for now. If they are any further ones i will communicate with you guys.

Next on the list are the PRODUCTS. Ranging from the best cleansers, exfoliate, toners and moisturizer to all around best acne products.
